Summer of Splendor

A VIP ROSH CHODESH RETREAT · LED BY

CHANY ROSENGARTEN

JUNE 14 – 16, 2026 ✦ A PRIVATE HOME IN MONSEY ✦ NEW YORK

✦ Only fourteen spots. Once full, we close. ✦

A day of renewal. A day to bring intention into the next chapter. A day to bring down the brachos.

Once a month, the moon is reborn, and we are renewed with her. From darkness into a sliver of light. From hiding into being seen again.

This is the last Rosh Chodesh before the Three Weeks. The moment to embrace renewal and acceptance, not last-minute, but now.

Two nights. One big experience. Before the Three Weeks begin.

What this is

Not a class. Not an event.

Three days of intentional gathering at the edge of summer, in a private retreat, with women who are ready to bring real presence to Rosh Chodesh.

Small enough to know everyone's name by Sunday night. Quiet enough to hear yourself think.

The Vibe

What you can feel

I

Sisterhood

A close, intentional circle of women. Names known by Sunday night.

II

Stillness

Hours where no one is asking anything of you. The slow that you have been longing for.

III

Sacred Time

Rosh Chodesh observed the way it was meant to be. Women, candlelight, the Rosh Chodesh given to us.

IV

Beauty

Florals. Candlelight. Meals that say you are taken care of. The aesthetic of a woman who is valued.

V

Teaching

Chany in person, in a held room. Years of teaching distilled into the words you actually needed to hear.

How the days move

What can change in three days

Day One

Sunday June 14 · Arrival

The Arrival

You arrive Sunday before sundown. The light is soft. The house is already waiting for you. Tea on the table. Fresh linens. The faces of the women you will know by heart in three days, gathered around a slow first dinner. Gentle conversation. The hush of Rosh Chodesh beginning. By the time you go to sleep, your shoulders have already dropped two inches, and the real work has not even started.

Day Two

Monday June 15 · Rosh Chodesh

The Heart

This is the day. Rosh Chodesh in its fullness. You wake to morning light. Hashem feels near in a way you had forgotten was possible. Chany teaches. The room goes still in places you did not know rooms could go still. There are stretches of quiet you have not had since before you had children. Conversations around the table the way you usually only have them in your head. By dinner you feel known. By the time the day closes, something inside you has shifted that no course, no book, no late-night audio message could have shifted alone.

Day Three

Tuesday June 16 · Departure

The Going Home

Tuesday morning is slow. There are tears that surprise you. There are women whose phone numbers you will keep forever. A closing circle that asks something of you and gives you something back, and then you go home. The Three Weeks are about to begin. You are not the woman who arrived. You carry the light. You carry the names. You carry the permission. You will pull from this well for months.

The woman holding the room

Chany Rosengarten

Teacher · Author · Creator of Woman of Valor

Chany has spent the last decade teaching what most women in our communities are too tired to put into words. Through Woman of Valor, Hearts on Fire, The Boundary Is You, and Shefa, she has built a body of work that meets frum women where they actually live.

The voice you have followed in writing, in courses, in late-night audio messages saved to your phone. This is where you finally hear her in person. In a small room. Alongside the women who are walking the same road.

The Women in the Room

What only the room can do

The women who come here are already on the journey. They have taken the courses. They have done the work. They have built the relationship with Hashem one quiet moment at a time.

Three days where the language does not have to be translated. Three days where nobody needs you to explain why you cried during Hallel. Three days inside the shorthand of women who are building the same kind of life you are building.

What forms here is not a friendship. It is a sisterhood. The kind that holds you through the hard months afterward. The kind that gives you permission to keep going. The kind a woman cannot really build alone.

Honesty

Who this is for

This is for you if

You are already doing the work of becoming, and you sense that doing it alongside other women would change something.

You have always wanted to mark Rosh Chodesh as more than a date on the calendar.

You can step away from home for three days and arrive ready to receive.

You want a small intimate container, not a big crowd.

You love Chany's teaching and want her in person, in a held room.

You sense that gathering in joy before the Three Weeks would change something inside you.

This is not for you if

You are looking for a casual sleepover or a girls' weekend.

You cannot disconnect from email and family for three days.

You are not open to slowing down or being in your body.

The dates don't work for you.

Questions

Before you say yes

When does registration close? +
Registration closes when we hit fourteen women, or May 30, 2026, whichever comes first. Past intimate retreats have filled within two weeks of opening, so reserving early is wise.
What is the kashrus standard? +
All food is fully kosher, prepared by a vetted kosher kitchen. Cholov Yisroel and Pas Yisroel honored.
Are rooms private or shared? +
Rooms are shared two women per room. The hosting home is set up to create a sisterhood feel where women bunk together. If you have a specific roommate request, indicate it on the registration form and we will do our best to honor it.
I've never done a retreat before. Is this for me? +
Many women come to Summer of Splendor as their first retreat. The container is small and warm. You do not need any prior experience to receive everything offered here.
What about tznius and dress? +
Come with acceptance and a readiness to be accepted. Come as you are. We are all women, in a private space, together.
Phone use during the retreat? +
Phones are welcomed but quietly discouraged during sessions and meals. There is a daily window to check in with family. The container is most powerful when you are fully present.
Can I come if I'm nursing or pregnant? +
Pregnant women are welcome. Nursing mothers are welcome but babies cannot attend. Please arrange childcare at home before you register.

Fourteen women. Two nights.
One new moon.

Before the season turns. Before the Three Weeks begin. Gather in splendor.
